Angels

            
Time stops when you are near
Your voice can take away my fear
Your touch can wipe away my tear
Or let it fall away
 
So when the tears come more than one
Too fast for just one wiping thumb
And hurting heart prays to be numbed
Is love so fast to stay
 
Now even when a love is true
Some days I find my heart is blue
And all I want for you to do
Is hold me close and pray
 
That God will hold your heart to mine
And Satan's work in us He'll bind
And blessings in our lives we'll find
As Angels light our way
